Treasury raises Notts rail re-opening hope

Plans to re-open a railway line in Nottinghamshire could benefit from a new £20m station re-opening fund announced by the Government this week. The Treasury said that the New Stations Fund would “be used to support a local bid for stations on the Robin Hood Line to Edwinstowe and Ollerton, subject to a business case”.
