The local authority owners of TRICS – the national trip rate database – are studying opportunities to expand into overseas markets.
The database is owned by a consortium of six councils – East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Dorset and Kent. Last month they established a trading company to manage the database, which was previously managed by JMP Consultants (LTT 17 Dec 14).
