Consultants are being invited to bid to manage TRICS, the national trip rate database for new developments.
TRICS (Trip Rate Information Computer System) was established in 1989 and is owned by a consortium of local authorities (West Sussex, East Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Dorset and Hampshire). The database contains over 5,600 days of traffic survey information that can be used to predict the number of additional trips generated by new development.
