The Government’s plans to completely rebuild Euston station to accommodate HS2 have run into trouble, with HS2 Ltd struggling to develop a viable scheme.
Alison Munro, HS2 Ltd’s managing director – development, revealed the difficulties to a meeting of the Euston Opportunity Area strategic board in October, the minutes of which have been obtained by campaign group Stop HS2.
