Transport secretary Ruth Kelly has opened the UK's first motorway high occupancy vehicle lane near Bradford. The 1.7km lane has been constructed on the hard shoulder of the M606 and M62 eastbound slip road towards Leeds, allowing motorists with at least one passenger to bypass congestion at Junction 26 of the M62.
