You recently reported London’s Oxford Street as a possible recipient of trams. Now you report the New West End Company suggesting that Crossrail’s opening will justify fewer buses on the street, allowing more space to be given to pedestrians (“Crossrail ‘justifies fewer buses on Oxford Street’” LTT?12 Oct).
