New highways MSc launches in Brighton

Sixteen students have started what is billed as the first Masters course to train future public sector highways managers. The MSc in highway engineering was launched by the SE7 group of councils at the University of Brighton last week, with the local authorities such as Surrey, and some of their contractors, such as May Gurney and Balfour Beatty, funding the students.
