Plans for an M4 relief road round Newport could come back on the agenda in a joint exercise between the Welsh Government and the DfT.
The Chancellor mentioned the Government’s willingness to work with the Welsh Government on ways to improve the M4 in south-east Wales in his autumn statement earlier this month . A DfT spokesman told LTT that the Department had been approached about joint working by the Welsh Government.
