My letter in your issue of 23 Sept has acquired a heading ‘Is the CBT supporting HS2 behind the scenes?’ which may give a false impression.
When Stephen Joseph gave evidence to the House of Commons transport committee on 21 June, he said that the Campaign for Better Transport was agnostic about HS2.
I have no reason to think, and was not trying to suggest, that he is saying something different anywhere else....
