Ludeman takes the wheel at Go Ahead

Go Ahead had to deal with the untimely loss of Chris Moyes this year. But Moyes and his former colleague Martin Ballinger have left Keith Ludeman, the new chief executive, with a strong legacy on which to build.

Last month passenger transport professionals gathered at Durham Cathedral to pay their final respects to Chris Moyes, co-founder of bus and rail group Go Ahead. Together with Martin Ballinger, Moyes spent two decades guiding the development of the group into a £1bn business, which now employs 20,000 people in the bus, rail, aviation services and parking businesses. His untimely death at the age of just 57 saddened the whole industry.
