Network Rail and Metro have submitted plans to Leeds City Council for a new station at Kirkstall Forge as part of Metro’s project to improve stations in the West Yorkshire area. The two-platform station, on the line between Leeds and Shipley, will include lifts and stairs, and a 127-space car park with a bus drop-off/pick-up area.
