AIM-listed bus manufacturer Optare has disclosed interim results that reveal the business made a pre-tax loss of over £2.5m in the six months to June 30.
The business has its roots in the former East Lancs concern that was acquired by North East-based entrepreneur Roy Stanley last year. He went on to acquire Leeds-based Optare earlier this year from its management team before its subsequent integration with the Darwen business.
