Andrew Brian has stepped down as chief executive of bus manufacturer Optare citing "personal and family reasons".
Transit understands that the move follows a board meeting of the Blackburn-based manufacturer earlier this week.
In a statement an Optare spokesperson said: "Andrew Brian, chief executive officer at Optare plc, is taking some time off from the business for personal and family reasons. We cannot make any further comment in relation to Andrew at this time. ...
