Scientists from the Ministry of Defence have concluded two tests examining how potentially toxic substances would spread around the London Underground network if used by terrorists. The trial was undertaken at St John's Wood station on the Jubilee Line with sulphur hexafluoride, a harmless substance, being released into all areas of the station, with sensing equipment recording airflows and penetration levels.
