TfL faces £20m fare loss from Crossrail

The delayed opening of the central section of Crossrail is expected to hit TfL’s fare revenues by about £20m in 2018/19, London transport commissioner Mike Brown has told the TfL board. Crossrail Ltd informed TfL and the DfT last month that the opening of the central section between Paddington and Abbey Wood had slipped from December until autumn next year (LTT 14 Sep).
