Free ‘uphill’ parking sessions will support Lincoln traders

City of Lincoln Council is introdusing free one-hour parking sessions at two of its ‘uphill’ car parks during February.

The free parking will support residents, visitors and local businesses while essential improvement works take place along the Bailgate.

The works, being delivered by Lincolnshire County Council, involve improving the historic carriage setts, road surfaces and pedestrian crossings along the Bailgate to enhance safety and preserve the character of the area.
