The Transport Planning Society (TPS) has appointed six new members to its Board of Directors.
The new members of the Board are: Nicky Ward, Technical Director at WSP;
Felicity Tidbury, assistant director at Portsmouth City Council; Panos Floros, Associate Director at Jacobs; Karishma Kumar, Principal Consultant at AtkinsRéalis; Leigh Bramall, Director at Transport and Sustainability; and Oliver Donnelly, Graduate Transport Consultant at PJA.
They join existing members Ben Plowden, Chief Executive at the Campaign for Better Transport; Liani Baglietto Castellares, Senior Planner and Social Value specialist at Arup; and Consultant Kieran Seale.
On its LinkedIn page, TPS will be posting profiles on each of its new members.
It started its ‘Director Spotlight’ series by introducing WSP’s Nicky Ward, stating she “brings over 25 years of experience in transport planning across both the public and private sectors”.
TPS says: “Nicky has worked on projects across the UK and internationally, with a real focus on travel demand, stakeholder engagement, and leading major programmes. She’s passionate about building strong partnerships, encouraging collaboration, and making sure equality and inclusivity are at the heart of how decisions are made and delivered.”
It adds: “Stay tuned as we continue to shine a light on the people shaping the future of transport planning and the TPS.”
The following have recently stepped down from the Board: Tim Cuthbert; Isabelle Milford; Tom van Vuren MBE; Mark Frost; Georgia Corr; Jim Morey; James Gleave; Susan Cross; and Roger Evans.
