Field Dynamics launches chargepoint data tool

Field Dynamics has launched a business intelligence platform that enables chargepoint operators (CPOs) plan, expand and optimise electric vehicle charging networks.

Built on Field Dynamics’ data and modelling technology, MetriX integrates location intelligence, EV adoption scenarios and network performance metrics into a single platform.

It is deigned to deliver data-driven answers to investment and deployment questions.

MetriX enables CPOs to undertake on-demand evaluation of potential sites, compares site performance, and supports investment cases with robust evidence. 

CPOs can use MetriX quantify asset performance through utilisation data, catchment demographics, and energy demand scenarios.

The system enables CPOs to: benchmark operators and portfolios with standardised, evidence-based metrics; accelerate planning and roll-out cycles by replacing fragmented datasets and manual analysis with a unified digital model; and assess growth potential using localised EV adoption forecasts, infrastructure readiness data, and competitive landscape analysis.

MetriX allows investors and their advisors to: compare portfolio performance across sites and regions, identify emerging hotspots; shorten due diligence cycles with standardised, comparable insights; and focus capital where can deliver greatest long-term impact.
