Tesla has axed its Supercharger division, which operates over 50,000 Superchargers globally, the company says.
The end of the Supercharger division was confirmed on social media by a number of employees.
Some industry executives and analysts suggest Tesla’s owner, Elon Musk, has decided to disband the existing Supercharger organisation to build a leaner and less expensive team to run the operations.
