Thefts at site of Luton Airport car park fire investigated by police

Police are investigating suspected thefts from vehicles caught up in the London Luton Airport car park fire.

A Bedfordshire Police spokesperson said: “We have been made aware of items being allegedly removed from the now disused multi-storey car park at London Luton Airport which was affected by a fire in October last year.”

A London Luton Airport spokesman said any allegations of criminal activity were taken very seriously and were for police to investigate.
