Northumbrian gigafactory project runs out of funds

Britishvolt, a British company that had ambitions to become a major manufacturer of batteries for electric vehicles, has gone into administration.

The start-up had planned to build a gigafactory to make electric car batteries in Blyth, Northumberland.
