Young Scots make over 13m free bus journeys

More than 13 million bus journeys have been undertaken since the Scottish Government introduced free travel for residents aged under 22, but so far fewer than half of the eligible people have applied for the pass. The government is seeking assurances from local authorities that applicants are not encountering obstacles if they wish or need to apply offline.
