£2.5m package from DfT to help disabled people travel

The DfT has announced £2.5m to make it easier for disabled people to use the transport network. This will include £1.5m to support all 13 Mobility Centres across England, which will help people who have stopped driving or are unable to learn to drive due to their disabilities, offering advice on alternatives such as powered wheelchairs, community transport and local services.
