One of Cardiff’s principal approach roads will have its speed limit reduced from 70mph to 50mph to improve air quality, if Cardiff Council secures the necessary funding. The 50mph limit would apply to seven miles of the A4232 dual carriageway, including the viaduct across the lagoon upstream of the Cardiff Bay barrage.
