Transport for the North has launched a research programme into transport-related social exclusion.
The work will consider how the lack of access to transport leads to exclusion from education and training opportunities, good quality employment, access to key services, and a community and social life.
A survey is being carried out among local authorities, charities, and community groups until 21 April.
