Shell is to buy on-street electric vehicle charging firm Ubitricity.
The petroleum giant will purchase 100 per cent of Ubitricity, subject to regulatory clearance. The deal is expected to be completed later this year.
Ubitricity was founded in Berlin and now operates in a number of European countries. It is the largest public EV charging network in the UK with more than 2,700 charge points (currently over 13 per cent market share).
