The West Midlands Combined Authority has appointed firms to a ten-year framework for the provision of demand responsive transport (DRT) services.
The procurement had two lots: a technology platform, and operators to provide vehicles and drivers.
Thirteen bids for the technology platform were received and six have been selected: Karhoo (based in France); Liftango (Australia); Moovit (UK, Kent); Shotl Transportation (Spain); Spare (Canada); and Via Transportation (UK, London).
