Wirral Council is to retain free parking in council-owned car parks until at least early next year because of COVID-19.
Charges were suspended in April.
Officers had recommended reinstating charges, saying it would help the council’s budgetary position.
Members of the policy and resources committee instead recommended they remain suspended until early next year.
