The Scottish Government has opened applications to a £2m scrappage scheme for older cars and vans. 

The Low Emission Zone Support Fund is open to low-income households, businesses with ten or fewer full-time employees, and sole traders. 

Households owning a vehicle that will be non-compliant with the car standards for the LEZs in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, and Aberdeen, could be eligible for a £2,000 payment if they take their car to be scrapped at an authorised treatment...
