Bus operator National Express West Midlands is to reduce bus fares when Covid-19 restrictions end.
The lower fares will be funded by the payments the operator receives from the Government’s Job Retention Bonus.
Under this scheme, employers are able to claim a one-off payment of £1,000 for every employee who was furloughed and stays employed to the end of January 2021.
