Hugh Chaplain has left consultant SNC-Lavalin Atkins where he was director of rail strategy to set up his own consultancy, Chaplain Transport Consulting Ltd. He has held a number of other rail positions in his career, including at Transport for Greater Manchester, AECOM, Transport for London, the Strategic Rail Authority, and West Yorkshire PTE.
