CO2 to blame for floods, says Shapps

Transport secretary Grant Shapps has blamed man-made climate change for the flooding that has hit much of Britain in the aftermath of Storms Ciara and Dennis this month. Appearing on Sky News’ Sophy Ridge on Sunday programme last weekend, Shapps said Britain seemed to be being hit by “more events like this” and “we all know the reasons and background to that [the flooding]”.
