Climate review for intra-Wales air service

The Welsh Government has hinted that the intra-Wales air service could be scrapped because of its carbon footprint.

Two return flights on working weekdays were established in 2007 to connect RAF Valley on Anglesey with Cardiff Airport, in the Vale of Glamorgan. In 2018 it emerged that the subsidy per passenger journey was £156. The current contract with Eastern Airways ends in February 2023.
