Norfolk County Council has complained to the Office of Rail and Road about Highways England’s lack of progress to improve sections of the A47 east-west road that serves Great Yarmouth.
In 2014 the Government committed £300m for a package of improvements to the road in Norfolk. This comprised:
dualling between Easton and Tuddenham
dualling between Blofield and Burlingham
upgrading the Thickthorn A11/A47 junction
Great Yarmouth junction improvements
