Increased automation, connectivity and the electrification of transport are leading to a seismic shift in the way we travel. With new petrol and diesel cars being phased out, carmakers are shifting their energies and resources to manufacturing affordable battery electric vehicles (BEVs). In view of this, it is expected that BEVs will be a viable choice for a wide range of drivers by 2030.
