Local authorities in the north of Scotland are to request funding from the Scottish Government to accelerate their work on road service collaboration.
The Northern Roads Collaboration Joint Committee brings together seven councils: Angus, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Argyll & Bute, Western Isles, Highland and Moray. Scotland’s national roads collaboration programme was set up in 2013 and the North is the furthest advanced on the agenda.
