The Welsh Government is preparing a Buses Wales Bill, the new title for what had been expected to be called the Public Transport (Wales) Bill.
A consultation on the Bill’s contents was launched last December, with proposals for bus partnership and franchising powers, the creation of joint transport authorities, and reform of taxi and private hire vehicle legislation.
