Bristol City Council is planning to introduce a 3.5-tonne weight restriction on Marlborough Street in the city centre as part of its clean air action plan. The council clarified the proposal to LTT after saying last month that the restriction would apply to vehicles over 7.5 tonnes, contrary to reports presented to councillors that said 3.5 tonnes (LTT 22 Nov).
