Brighton and Hove City Council has awarded Electric Blue a concession to install and manage electric vehicle charging points.
Hertfordshire-based Electric Blue will install 207 lamppost chargers on residential streets, funded by a £300,000 Office of Low Emission Vehicle (OLEV) grant and £100,000 from the company itself.
Drivers using the chargers will pay 28p per kilowatt hour. The council will receive a share of revenues, starting at 1p per kw/h, rising to 4p per kw/h...
