Swansea parkway station explored

The DfT and Welsh Government are exploring building a new ‘West Wales Parkway’ railway station north of Swansea. The station would be built near Felindre, close to the M4, on the freight-only Swansea District Line that connects Briton Ferry east of Swansea with the Llangennech, near Llanelli, to the west. The DfT has also confirmed £58m for upgrading Cardiff Central railway station to improve access and longer platforms. The DfT is responsible for rail infrastructure funding...
