The London Borough of Richmond may designate parking for dockless bike hire on the carriageway as well as on footways.
“Most regular public cycle parking is located on footways,” Paul Chadwick, Richmond’s director of environment and community services, told councillors. “In order to identify sufficient designated parking spaces, it may be necessary to investigate designated parking places on the carriageway.”
