York’s biggest bus operator has welcomed the council’s new plan for a bus-based clean air zone (CAZ), which should be implemented in January 2020.
Councillors last month approved the CAZ covering the city centre and inner ring road. It will require buses to be Euro VI or better, except on low frequency routes (LTT 01 Feb).
