Transport for the North is increasing its workforce and reducing its reliance on consultants.
By next month TfN expects to directly employ 122 staff, with 92 permanent posts, 25 ‘transition’ posts (fixed term contracts of up to two years), and five apprentices.
By March 2020 the workforce is expected to have grown to 153 (118 permanent posts, 28 transition posts and seven apprentices).
