Explore new revenue streams to keep capital moving, TfL told

The rising cost and delayed opening of the Elizabeth Line merely add to the list of Transport for London’s financial worries. Transport for London was already facing unprecedented financial challenges before the news came this summer that the opening of the central tunnel section of the Elizabeth Line (Crossrail) between Paddington and Abbey Wood would be delayed from December until next autumn, and that additional cash was needed to complete the project.
