Crackdown on taxis in Clean Air Zones

The Department for Environment Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA) is seeking information from councils on taxis and private hire vehicles (PHVs) entering or moving within a Clean Air Zone. Councils in England and Wales will be required to share certain details on licensed taxis and PHVs to a central DEFRA database.
