Bulldozing homes proposed to tackle roadside air pollution

Demolishing houses along one of Britain’s most polluted roads has emerged as one of the best options in a study to address air quality problems.

In 2016, it was revealed that A472 Hafod-yr-ynys Road, in the South Wales Valleys, suffered the highest concentrations of roadside nitrogen dioxide of any location outside central London.
