Study of Menai road and power crossing

The Welsh Government and National Grid will jointly study the feasibility of constructing a bridge to carry road traffic and power cables over the Menai Strait between Anglesey and the mainland. However, the National Grid is already warning of the challenges of providing a shared crossing and is continuing to plan its own tunnel under the waterway.
