Heathrow Airport’s owners appear to be backtracking on a pledge that a third runway will see no more airport-related traffic on the roads than today, according to the London Borough of Hounslow.
Hounslow says the pledge is “barely mentioned” in the consultation documents concerning the third runway proposal published by Heathrow Airport Ltd in January (LTT19 Jan).
