Customers at NCP multi-storeys in Stoke wrongly issued fines

Car park operator NCP has apologised for wrongly issuing fines at two of Stoke-on-Trent’s largest multi-storeys. Angry motorists contacted the local newspaper The Sentinel after being issued with £60 parking charge notices (PCNs) at NCP’s Glass Street and Meigh Street car parks, in Hanley, between 7 and 10 February. 

The company blamed the problem on faulty payment machines at its car parks over the three-day period. NCP is not commenting on the number of notices issued,...
