Skates rejects councils’ active travel maps

The Welsh Government has rejected the active travel Integrated Network Maps (INMs) prepared by four local authorities but approved those of 17 others. 

The Active Travel (Wales) Act 2013 was the first in the world to require all councils to plan and progressively implement networks of active travel routes.
